Guest guest
Oh Donna, it doesn't sound like you're having a fun time between trying to get things done and the fear of the dentist, not counting the dog throwing up. I don't think they can get the stomach flu...maybe he/she just ate something that didn't agree with them. I know I've had mine do that in the night along with having diarrhea. I got up in the middle of the night about a week ago and my beagle was sitting on the bedroom floor panting. I said "do you need to go out" and about that time I stepped in diarrhea (yep, she had to go out) And doesn't it seem like when you have to get up in the night like that it takes so long to fall back to sleep? It does for me anyway, especially if I have to clean something up. I've been up since 6 am and thought about trying to get my workout done before DH got home from work, but I've sat at this damn computer too long. Oh well, like you, my workout today isn't' very long so I'll get it in. I hope you do OK at the dentist. I hate going too. Try to have a good day! ~*~~*~It's Tax Time! Guest guest
donna, don't suffer!! go for the sedation if you need it. try a ravi today-- that may help calm your nerves. stacey > > Hi Everyone, > > Although I've been up since 4:30, I haven't worked out > yet. Guest guest
It's back to working out in the evenings ( is this why you're having trouble getting up early too?) I have a really bad sleep problem and after doing a sleep program I have figured out how to be able to sleep at night (most nights) I have to get up early in order to sleep at night. I slacked off there for a few days and got up after 6:30 and I paid the price for it. Its weird how it works, but I've figured it out, I think. I hate getting up (though I'm an early riser anyway) but 6 am is a little too early for me, I like 7 am a little better, but if getting up a little extra early means sleeping at night med free, then I'm all for it. I have to be up by around 7 am anyway, so I'm up an hour earlier now days. Oh well, I just tell myself that gives me a chance to get some things done, I guess. ~*~~*~It's Tax Time! Guest guest
Hi! I have sort of " trained' myself to get up early - my incentive is to have some peace and quiet! I also often have disturbed nights - I made a deal w/ DD that she had to sleep alone for a month and then I would let her go on Amazon to pick out books for herself. Although I loved cuddling with her in the middle of the night, it got to be too much with her waking me up almost every night. So far so good, except for when she was sick. Now, i've got DD under control, but last night Shenan (the dog) had me up to go out at about 3:00 a.m. (I think she was having issues as she normally sleeps through the night pretty well - although DH is her favorite person, when she's in trouble at night she comes to me!) Take care - I still haven't worked out yet today, I think I'll end up taking it off - maybe I'll workout both weekend days to make up the difference. Take care, Donna --- Pink wrote: > Hi Donna! > > It's been fun reading about your Ellen Barrett theme > week! I like her > a lot. Guest guest
im glad that you were able to figure this out finally. and no sleep meds anymore? Yeah, I take my spells where I start having a lot of trouble again and then I have to get up even earlier. The hard part is that it takes a few days to get back on track. We found out on Friday that DH is laid off from his job so he'll be home sleeping with me (he works nights) and snoring like a cow, so back to sleep meds ( ~*~~*~It's Tax Time! Guest guest
Donna, I understand. I have developed almost a phobia of the dentist over the last decade or so. But I'm into a routine now where the whole family goes for check-ups and cleanings every 6 months, and that seems to help. I'd go just once a year, if I didn't have children - I think dental care is important so I go to be a good role model for them... thank goodness dh is unflappable, so he always goes in with the kids if they have work to be done. AND, I've been meaning to say that the mock STS rotation sounds good, and I'm thinking about it. But I have a stack of rotations printed out that I can't wait to start.... -----Original Message----- From: exercisevideos Donna M-P wrote: > This morning I have to go to the dentist and I'm > scared. oh-oh how did go? :*c. ------------------------------------
Guest guest
Oh no! I'm so sorry to hear about DH's job! Is it a temporary lay off or a find another job lay off? Guest guest
Oh no! I'm so sorry to hear about DH's job! Is it a temporary lay off or a find another job lay off? He works for GM and a plant that supplies axles to the GM plants are on strike, so its affected many people and many GM plants. We are behind the people on strike 100%, but we are praying they go back to work soon. ~*~~*~It's Tax Time! Get tips, forms and advice on AOL Money Finance. Guest guest
it seems funny that the solution to having a good nights sleep is to sleep less.how many hours a night do you get? Well, its not so much about getting less sleep. It is at first, but its more of building up your sleep cycle. Its hard to explain and it took me a while to figure it out, but with dh being home my sleep will get really messed up. Between him wanting to stay up and watch TV and then him AND our beagle snoring, I don't have a chance in hell for sleep. ~*~~*~It's Tax Time! Get tips, forms and advice on AOL Money Finance.
