Well, I just finished week 12 . . . I can't believe it! But i'm doing a 13 week

challenge because we are going on vacation in a week and a half so don't want to

take a week off until then. So I'm gonna keep it up for another week then weigh

and measure next Saturday. I gotta say, I never thought I would actually make

this far!!! It just proves that it IS possible to make this program a way of

life!

Have a couple questions though: I'm really scared about the off week . . . any

suggestions from some of you successful ladies on how to keep the " free week "

from ruining all the progress I've make in making this a lifestyle? I mean, I

plan to still try to eat reasonably well while we're on vacation. But we will be

visiting family so I know there'll be lots of meals out and family style

dinners. And I don't want to completely deny myself but I don't want to

completely lose momentum either . . .it was so hard to get here, I know it would

be soooo easy to slip back into old habits long term! Also, I'm gonna try to do

at least a couple of workouts while we're in Florida, but I won't have access to

a gym or really any equipment at all. So any help you guys have about the off

week would be VERY appreciated! I've made it too far to go back now!

And there's only about 7 months until I turn thirty, so that gives me a chance

to do two more challenges to reach my goals by then . . . can't stop now!!!!

Another question: I'm looking for ways to change it up during the next

challenge. Has anyone tried the Jillian 's 30 day shred? I watched one

of her workouts on Comcast on-demand tonight, just to see what it was all about.

It looks like it might good to substitute for a cardio day once and a while. It

seems sorta HIIT-like . . meaning, she'll do hard cardio for a couple minutes

then switch to something less intense like abs. Any thoughts?

Thanks so much for all the support . . this board has really helped me out. Even

when I don't post!
