Guest guest
I've only seen a demo version of Meal Plans 101. It seemed helpful, but I'm not the software junkie I one was. I probably didn't get into it far enough to find all the things that would annoy me. I do know that they honor their money back guarantee. So, if you're not thrilled with it you can get a refund and maybe try something else. What don't you like about it? Because if it's really bad, I want to get it out of my store. > Has anyone purchased MealPlans101 software? I just purchased it and I'm > not > impressed so far. Guest guest
A list of things I don't like: No directions. (Which could be the main problem) Small food database. It states 13,000+, but the only nuts listed were peanuts and walnuts (for example). It doesn't seem to calculate anything. If it does, I don't see it. It gives me my total calorie allotment but it doesn't show if I've gone over or how many more calories I have left over. I don't see any way to add a custom food. No matter which Carb/Protein/Fat percentage I choose it seems like my protein is really low and starches are the main stay of the meal planning. It's weird... It can't really be this bad. I must not understand how it works. After you have inserted your foods into each category (i.e. breakfast, snack, lunch, snack...) there are two button to press: Meal Plan and Meal Plan Summary. As far as I can tell, they provide the exact same result. Not exactly a complaint, I just don't " get it " . It allows for 6 meals a day, each labeled as breakfast, snack, lunch, snack, dinner and snack and next to each one is what looks like a break down of what category I should be eating with each meal. For example: Breakfast: Dairy 1 Veg 1 Fruit 1 Starch 2 Protein 0 Fat 1 Next to Snack: it has zero's next to each category. I'll see if I can stick a screen print in here. <http://www.shelfari.com/invite/tXnQIg1umeR5xKiytHzK3g> _____ From: bodyforlifewomensclub2 [mailto:bodyforlifewomensclub2 ] On Behalf Of Skwigg Sent: Thursday, January 03, 2008 8:47 AM To: bodyforlifewomensclub2 Subject: Re: MealPlans101 I've only seen a demo version of Meal Plans 101. Guest guest
There is a user's guide and knowledge base in their customer support area. http://mealplans101.com/support/index.php And a video demo http://www.mealplans101.com/VideoTutorial.htm Don't know if that will help or not. > A list of things I don't like: > No directions.
