Guest guest
I am in my first week of my first BFL cycle. I love it! I started off not doing the regular BFL ab workout with lower body. I've been doing the Ab boot camp on cardio days. Do you all recommend that for a newbie? I don't have tons of fat to lose and I'm experienced in doing ab workouts if that helps. Also is the ABsolution by worth the money? I am also wondering what if any supplements I should get. I have the 100% whey protein. I can't do Myoplex because I'm allergic to corn syrup and they all have it. Do you recommend Betagen for a goal of getting lean and toned? Thanks in advance. This is a great group. Guest guest
My humble opinion on abs is that if you don't have low enough bodyfat for them to show, you're wasting your time doing a whole lot of targeted ab work. Just do whatever core exercises your routine calls for to keep your functional strength up and save the targeted six- pack work for when your bodyfat is low enough for it to show. > > I am in my first week of my first BFL cycle. Guest guest
Hi Mel, Ab Boot Camp is fine. ABsolution is a good read, but it's complete strength training and nutrition program, not really something to be done alongside BFL. Although, I guess you could incorporate ideas from both. Betagen is good if you want to lift heavier, recover faster and/or make your muscles bigger and more prominent. It's bad if you're a scale watcher because it usually causes a 3-5lb gain at first. You can definitely get smaller and leaner while taking it, but the initial trend is upward, so don't be alarmed. :-) > I am in my first week of my first BFL cycle. I love it!
