Guest guest
Hi Sally Lloyd saw a lovely woman when he first regressed - i used to read to him to keep him still and she gave him puzzles to do - she was great with him and he would lie really still and gabble away! She was definitely instrumental in him being able to tolerate his head being touched which was a real issue before and i think she really eased his gut pain and helped his sleep too. I used to be so tired i used to fantasise about climbing on the therapy couch and and sleep whilst having a treatment at the same time as Lloyd! I believe it is often used for reflux problems in small babies and helps address issues causwd through forceps and ventouse births. hth sharon x
Guest guest
Hi Sally Don’t know Janet Hillier but has been seeing a sacrocranial therapist (in Manchester) for the past 4 years. I’m impressed. Both Hubby and I have been too, if we could afford it we would ALL go regularly. Edith will need to lie down and stay still for the session (usually about 45mins). We do this with a portable DVD player – which isn’t ideal but my therapist can work with the distraction. Only good things to say about it except the cost (but then maybe we have a particularly good therapist). HTH n From: Autism-Biomedical-Europe [mailto:Autism-Biomedical-Europe ] On Behalf Of Eva family Sent: 30 January 2008 12:12 To: Autism-Biomedical-Europe Subject: sacrocranial therapy I've made an appointment for Edith with someone called Janet Hillier in Abbots Langley near Watford. Does anyone know her or have any reports of this therapy (good or bad)? xx Sally
Guest guest
How often do you go and what results have you seen? Sounds lovely to me. I shall take Daddy's Ipod which is a special treat. xx Sally n s wrote: > > Hi Sally > > Don’t know Janet Hillier but has been seeing a > sacrocranial therapist (in Manchester) for the past 4 years. Guest guest
Hi Sally, goes once per week. He has improved tremendously. His immune system is stronger, his back has improved (didn't know he had a problem - therapist says maybe from birth) she was always adjusting his pelvis (particularly when we had bowel issues), all of his organs including liver, kidneys, adrenals, thyroid, lungs have improved. She now works mainly on back, lungs, and head (always buzzing). However, we have been doing biomed for many years and LOD for almost a year. So I tend to think that there is a big interaction, synergy between the two approaches. When I try something new biomed-wise I don't tell the therapist and see what she says to me. LOD and VSL#3 made her comment that his digestive system had improved significantly after just a couple of weeks. She also fixes any aches or pains and sprains. She can tell me if there is a viral issue. n * sacrocranial therapy > > I've made an appointment for Edith with someone called Janet Hillier in > Abbots Langley near Watford. Guest guest
thanks Caroline. The lady described it as 5g of pressure. I thought I must have misheard her. She's had sucess with people with autism, she says. I'll try with Edith and then you try with xx Sally CarolineTraa@... wrote: > > Hi > > I have used Cranialsacro therapy for a recurring back problem and its > juts fab, so nothingy its almost impossible to describe to people.... > But really worthwhile. Guest guest
The energy therapies are something that my daughter will always do. Even if she's in the middle of a very preferred activity, she will stop for this. She has been reluctant to let others do this for her so I've had to learn it; actually have a certification now all because of her. The first time we went, my daughter would not let the therapist touch her or even work in her field. The woman showed it to me on me and I was hooked. The first time K let the therapist work on her, she slept the rest of the day-about 8hrs-unheard of for her. > > Hi > > I have used Cranialsacro therapy for a recurring back problem and its juts > fab, so nothingy its almost impossible to describe to people.... Guest guest
This lady was telling me about an autistic child and she said that the first time the child wouldn't let her (the therapist) touch her ... but the second time " she was really looking forward to it " . So I said " Why did she change if you didn't touch her? " and the woman started to say something like " I did it off the body " and then probably realised that I would think that completely bats and just backtracked waffling (very nicely) as she went. Where do you live , perhaps we should come to you xx Sally mbrookh wrote: > > The energy therapies are something that my daughter will always do. > Even if she's in the middle of a very preferred activity, she will > stop for this.
