She is rated highly isnt she so i imagine she will get the best person she can find. >>I don't rate her WITH OUR KIDS, she may be OK for adults or others. Guest guest
I just got home, my letter was here too. I just got all my test results back, and I will get 1 consult, I hope! (scheduled for the end of Feb). Is Dr Heard that old? I don't remember thinking he looked that old. -Jenna lhiggy@... wrote: They don't know yet. Guest guest
I did mostly everything myself....I trust myself more :-))))) and especially my gut instinct. In any case, what's the point of becoming healthy and the bank account emptying. That causes undue stress....... Guest guest
The first thing that occurred to me when I got my letter was that maybe Deer, M Fitzpatrick and that lot had got it in for him and were trying to interest the GMC. I don;t hink I'm particularly paranoid. The second thing that occurred to me was that either he or a close family member was ill. I really don't think he was earning that much at the Breakspear, when you consider overheads and professional insurances. I am sure my dentist charges more per hour. Guest guest
absolutely agree with not needing doctor. in my experience, been a huge rip off. we paid the guts of £2000 here for a bunch of useless tests from germany and off the wall supplements. WE paid our doc £160.00 per hour and when i think of it, i still want to cry. the doctor was just starting out and i think my son was his guinea pig (i was soo naive at the start, didnt know any better) now we do most of it on our own with help of a nutritionist and of course all you wonderful people. Just cause somebody calls themselves a DAN means nothing whatsoever. further, there are other protocols than DAN, there is also just PLAIN GOOD SENSE, that you get from knowing your own child and doing your own research. DAN is about branding, like everything else and we line their pockets. > > I did mostly everything myself....I trust myself more :-))))) and especially my gut instinct. Guest guest
Same here Margaret, I also wondered if he was ill, or maybe even setting up on his own? Retiring from the practice needn't necessarily mean retiring full stop.
Guest guest
The one benefit we have found with The Breakspear is getting blood samples taken. We don't have a good GP - so it makes life a lot easier. Guest guest
HE did say to me once that it was an uncomfortable place to be - practicing this kind of medicine that is. I think he did find the whole thing very stressful and he did take a lot of holidays. We found him very useful and I wish him well in any future plans. > > > > I did mostly everything myself....I trust myself more :-))))) and > especially my gut instinct. Guest guest
The trouble is chelation isn't the whole answer for a lot of kids and trying to fix the immune system is pretty complicated. We are still quite a way off but Charlie's porphrin test is now better than my NT child so once the metals are down you still have to fix the damage they have caused. Guest guest
yes me too. Think this is a bad thing actually, whatever you might say about better to go alone, many parents wouldn't even consider many of the treatments without the aid of someone with letters after their name. Very bad news for biomed, let's hope there are more to take up the baton.
