Guest guest
Yea on DH finally coming home! I look forward to the weeks that DH is working 3-11 sometimes, but I don't think I'd want to not see him for an entire month. Tami Yesterday and today.. Yesterday, I did Ripped to the Core. I burned like 541 calories. Very surprised since it's a strength training workout. I was watching my heart rate quite a bit, and it does really climb when working lower body. I have never wore it before while doing strength (besides lately),it's been interesting!Today I did Cardio Fusion with Rob Glick. I think that's the name..grr.. It's a hour-long bosu workout. I LOVED it. I've done it in the past, but it's been awhile. I had a great time doing it. Kaysar was awake and well-behaved the whole time. Whew. It's nice to know if I have to, I can workout with him nearby (if his mood allows, of course). I forgot I had my HRM on, and at the 90 minute mark, I shut it off. I had been making breakfast for the boys. Anyway, it read 810 calories, but obviously that wasn't too acurate. I'll have to try it again soon to see what it burns. After I got the kids fed, I put in Kari 's Curl. I really like this ab workout. It's 20 - 25 minutes of abs, and I can feel it pretty well I have a training appointment in 30 minutes, and then hopefully I can enjoy my Saturday!AND, my dh is on his way home! Yay. It has been nearly a month! The boys will be ecstatic. He should be here tomorrow night I am guessing. Driving from Texas to Wisconsin, but big work-trucks so it takes longer.Darcy

Guest guest
Great job Darcy! Those are tough workouts and you worked up a super calorie burn! Do you know if the bosu workout, Cardio Fusion with Rob Glick, could be done with dyna disks in lieu of an actual Bosu? Dyna disks are 2 inflatable wobbly disc that I think could be substituted? Thanks!
Guest guest
Hmm.. I don't know much about dyna disks, so I don't feel like I could answer the question . Sorry. I am certain that the workout could be done perfectly on a step though!Darcy Great job Darcy! Those are tough workouts and you worked up a super calorie burn! Guest guest
Hi Sara,Yes the trip today went fine. I didn't buy a thing though I had to exchange my fuzzy shirt (for the right size), take my camera to best buy, and return a dog bed that my dog refused to lie on. Bryar fell asleep before I took him to a playland for lunch so I got out of that too..heh..heh.. I'm not sure if volume 2 is harder than 1 or not??? Had you heard it was? You can always modify and rest more often when needed I'll be curious to know if you cave and get some kettlebells. I'm sure you wouldn't be sorry!!! Darcy Hi Darcy! Great job! I really enjoy hearing about your kettlebell workouts! I found Iron Core vol 2 at goodwill, but am a bit scared to try it after having a look, lol! I think I need to get vol 1 to try first. Plus, I'm still SO fascinated by these adjustable bells: http://www.uskettlebells.com/ Sounds like you got some great bargains on Fri - good job! And your new fuzzy shirt sounds nice and comfy, too! I hope your shopping trip today went well. Sara > > I have been getting my workouts in, and feeling great with them > Yesterday, I did The Kettlebell Way again.
