Guest guest
I'm going to tell you what's got me going in the right direction now. I have been following the program for five or six years. BUT I don't knuckle down and really do it. I eat six meals, I work out like a should and I don't sweat the small stuff. I never binge any more, I don't idley snack and my free days aren't usually that bad at all. I just don't dial it in either. I'm to the point in my life where I need to make a career change and I've decided to get my Trainer Cert. Until I get that last 40-50 off, no one will take me seriously, even though I'm one of the best powerlifters in the country. I'm in a job with a total wanker boss right now. Everytime I think about not getting up and going to the gym or eating more than an exact portion or stopping at a Starbucks or Specialties in the afternoon, I ask myself " Do I want _____ more than I want to get away from my ass clown boss? " The answer is always the same. I don't want anything as much as I want that clown out of my life. The question for you is " What do you want more? Just finished reading the BFL for Women book. I read the original BFL years ago and don't remember a thing I'm going to start reading it tonight. BFLfW gets mixed reviews on Amazon. Many of them quite good, but some that really dis it and say to just go with the BFL. Some reviews said that there were a lot of negative messages in the book -- I looked at them as reality checks The workouts in the BFLfW don't require that you have a gym membership or a lot of equipment -- a few dumb bells and a jump rope will do (a weight bench helps). It's definitely for " light lifters " , but then most women are, unless you've been doing a weight lifting program for years. Got a library around? I suspect most libraries have the original BFL and may have the women's version. And I don't know about your library, but ours will order in (or transfer in on loan) anything you ask for.
