  • 11 months later...

This is all so wonderful. I am so excited just thinking about this....We are up to 2 drops per day (cautious me!!) but this has given me the confidence to move up to more..... is everyone doing the liquid stuff? and also taking the Vit K and CLO? We are doing the Vit k but only do the CLO about 2 or 3 times per week... so maybe I should increase that too. My dd is also non verbal and has lots of OCD behaviours.

Cheers

More changes with vitamin D

by the way, i have my whole family on it, including my mom and siblings and their kids!!!Yesterday, my boy awoke and said, clear as you please "I want to wash my hair"! So of course we immediately gave him a bath to do it.A six word sentence including a pronoun! He didnt copy it off a tv show (like his school suggested before when he said a 3 word sentence). He really wanted to wash his hair, he likes the bubbles. He is putting his hand out as if to shake your hand and says "friendship" and "shake".I dont know where he is getting this stuff from.receptively he understands almost all of what i say/ask of him. I have realised now that he is speaking so much more, that he defo has oral dyspraxia, despite idiot speech therapists dismissing this. I didnt know for sure until the words starting coming out. anyway, i dont know who mentioned vitamin D first on this list, but thanks to whoever did, cause we are just so pleased and its so WONDERFUL seeing things coming from other parents. mandi, keep us posted, i am on pins and needles for you !!!!still a bit hyper, but a lot more calmer than before.

Receptive language improved also I am sure.

I shall keep to 3 drops, I have perfected art of timing so not too many drops and have to throw away supp mix - it fall out of its own accord, so need to be speedy

Oh Mandi, there are going to be so many cheshire cat smiles and a

hooping and a hollerin when you get that Mummy word. He will have no

idea how many people will be thrilled to bits. You are a star.
