Thank you to all who've said a prayer or sent positive thoughts. Itwas tougher than I feared, there were several questions that I readand thought 'I've never read about this before in my life.' When Ifinished, I didn't have a clue how I'd done until it was graded.Out of 800 possible points, I got 674, with 500 required to pass. So,the A+ student in me is a little peeved, but the majority of me iscrazy-pleased and utterly relieved! <G>The big hairy monkey on my back is GONE and I'm CERTIFIED! (Asopposed to certifiable, which is probably true too, but requires anentirely different sort of exam.)Thank you again for your support and encouragement all these months. Now, I can workout with a free conscience and not worry if I tweak myback. Woo-hoo! Big Congrats!Darcy

Thank you to all who've said a prayer or sent positive thoughts. It

was tougher than I feared, there were several questions that I read

and thought 'I've never read about this before in my life.' When I

finished, I didn't have a clue how I'd done until it was graded.

Out of 800 possible points, I got 674, with 500 required to pass. So,

the A+ student in me is a little peeved, but the majority of me is

crazy-pleased and utterly relieved! <G>

The big hairy monkey on my back is GONE and I'm CERTIFIED! (As

opposed to certifiable, which is probably true too, but requires an

entirely different sort of exam.)

Thank you again for your support and encouragement all these months.

Now, I can workout with a free conscience and not worry if I tweak my

back. LOL

Good job, Tess! ACE *is* tough! That's why I went with AFAA - the

questions are easier and you do a practicum in addition to a written

exam. I bow to you for completing ACE!

I missed some posts, obviously (super busy at work with year end

projects) but are you going to be a trainer or a GX instructor?

Thank you everyone! I'm so relieved it's becoming funny. :-) I plan

on becoming a trainer. Because of my son's disability and his health

coverage, I can't really start working for pay until he's 18 in

another year, but I intend on using the time to get some CE credits in

subjects that will enhance my scope of practice, and also to do some

volunteer training at the Y to gain real-world experience.

I really do appreciate all the encouragement and congratulations here!

Thank you, Tonya!I got the Personal Trainer cert. I'll probably start on the Lifestyle and Weight Management cert after the first of the year, to help get some of my CE's out of the way, too. Since it'll be another year before I can go to work full time, I'm hoping to get that, a Special Populations cert, and maybe Group Exercise as well, just to have enough education to maybe outweigh my lack of experience. <G>

Tess

Congratulations! Which ACE Cert did you get?
