Guest guest
Is there an imposed media blackout on this case? We heard about intial charges from the GMC side but not the response of Wakefield. Any one know what's going on? >>they are probably still reading out the charges against the other two - sigh..................The press are not interested in what Andy has to say I think thats the trouble. They are hoping to do a show for journalists in a couple of weeks time - Hear the Silence and Finding the Words - we might get some decent press if any of those invited have a brain cell or a conscience or an editor willing to let them run with our side of the story. Must get the girl that interviewed Celia an invite Mandi x
Guest guest
Even if the press is not interested there should be a media statement from the GMC or is everything in camera. Don't have time to investigate at the mo but will look into it. Guest guest
It says on the website that members of the public can attend the hearings which would indicate that that the hearings are not being held in private.... Guest guest
I saw Dr Ken Bock recently (DAN! doctor) and he was very worried. He really trusts Andy Wakefield but says the signs are not looking good. What a tragedy for him and also, by extension, for our kids. Guest guest
> > Sorry for the dim question but has the trial finished? SARA Hi Sara, Not dim at all, no coverage in the media so most people have forgotten it ever started I think. The prosecution has finished their case, and they are having a break now till Jan 08 before defence starts their bit. Lots of info ( tho obviously with a bias towards the Docs), is available on www.CryShame.org.uk> I have looked to see if anyone else is covering it, maybe someone more inclined towards Deer's view, but have had no luck. I was just intrigued as to the likely opposing views of how it was going. Sue

What has happened to the hearing. I have tried to google and found nothing recent. Also, is there a problem with TA's website. I am having problems getting it to open. >>Site is down, Jo is trying to find out what the problem is. Andys defense starts again in March we need many more people than we had last July - this is a cut and paste from Alison We have now had confirmation of a date for the Defence Hearing, Tuesday March 25th. It's the day after Easter Monday, kids are off school and a lot of people probably aiming to jet off on holiday. It seems to be set in stone but we are remembering the last time when they changed it, causing the odd headache, let's hope they stick to it this time. Whatever happens, we hope to get as many gathered outside with placards, children, t-shirts, songs and friends and family there at the GMC, Regents Place, 350 Euston Road, London NW1 3JN. I know we can count on Treating Autism to raise a great swell in favour of the three doctors. This is the point where Doctors Wakefield and Simon Murch and Professor will be able to give evidence, at last they will be heard, the world's media will be waiting.....let's give them all the support we can.
