Guest guest
I took today as an unintended rest day because it was really busy but I got to spend time with my in-laws, DH's grandparents and my SIL, BIL who had been in the hospital a few weeks ago (and is doing great), 2 year old nephew and got to do lots of holding of my 2 month old niece so that was all wonderful! This week is going to be primarily cardio, doing walking workouts. Most of them have some kind of strength component, most lower body but some upper body, most of it pretty low key. The emphasis of each is cardio though. I haven't done my walking workouts in a while and I miss their uncomplicatedness and usually lower intensity too. I'm trying to get back into the school wake up at 6:30 mode and it was really hard with the Olympics on each night this past week. Hopefully it will be easier this week now that the Olympics are over. I was really tired last week so I think knowing I have lower key workouts waiting for me will help me gear up for them and get them done. I got all my workouts in last week but it wasn't easy most days. I'm planning to start Jari Love workouts either August 31 or more likely, September 1. Here's my plan for this week though: Workout Plan Week of August 24, 2008 Sunday: Rest Monday: Get Moving! Walking for Weight Loss (Madeline ) Plus lots of zoo walking with the kids and best friend and her kids! Tuesday: Prevention Walk Your Way Slim ( Dozois) Wednesday: Debbie Rocker Walking for Weight Loss Thursday: Kathy Power Walk for Weight Loss Friday: Austin Blast Away the Pounds Indoor Walk Saturday: Sansone WATP Express Super Challenge 4 Miles (or possibly Walk Slim 3 Fast Miles) -- Can't do a walking workout week without at least one ! Should be an enjoyable week!
Guest guest
Great looking week ahead, ! I've often thought of doing a week of walking workouts complimented with yoga and/or Pilates. I should do that sometime soon.....
