Guest guest
Well a couple of my staples are cottage cheese, shrimp, and chicken and Whole Wheat Tortillias..I use these items alot. And fresh fruit that is in season.Lately Walmart has had the medium precooked shrimp for less than $4 a bag so it really is not a bad price and that serves for SEVERAL meals  My fast snack is cold shrimp with a yogurt and cold shrimp and a piece of fruit or cottage cheese with yogurt and fruit ,..occasionaly on the go, my favorite protein bar is the Zone chocolate mint.  I always have precooked chicken ready to go..for salads, or wraps.  I love Chocolate-Peanut butter protein shakes made with Smart Omega Natural PButt...  Egg Beaters are great and you can use lots of veggies for changes with them.   Jennie O Turkey burgers the seasoned ones are pretty good and easy to make..my whole family likes them...which is a rare thing here  Just a few of things I use... Hope it helps  ~L PS I workout at 5:30am M-W-F for weights 6:00am for cardio T-Th-S   Subject: Whats your favorite.... Guest guest
My favorite meal is a taco salad and my favorite snack is low fat cheese dipped in salsa or an apple or banana with 2 tsp of natural peanut butter. I also love the coffee drink I make with almond milk and whey protein. http://wonderwomen.typepad.com > Snack, Meal... Guest guest
Favorite snacks: - cottage cheese blended with peaches--sweet and creamy! - fudgesicles made with chocolate protein powder, skim milk and sugar-free chocolate pudding mix Favorite meals: - breakfast " strata " with egg whites, lf ham, shredded potatoes, onions, sometimes peppers, and cheddar cheese - turkey & spinach lasagne - baked chicken breasts stuffed with spinach and lf feta - oatmeal with cinnamon, protein shake poured over it I work out after work (around 4), because the gym doesn't open until 9AM, and I'm already teaching by then. Saturdays I do it late morning. I've thought about moving my HIIT workouts to mornings, since I do those at home, but I think it'll screw with my internal clock if I'm up at 5 some days, and 6:30 the other days. - Janine
