Guest guest
I'm hoping for some wisdom - I'm fairly new to the whole working out thing and ran into something that is making no sense to me. In March I started BFL. The beginning of June, I switched to Turbulence Training Intermediate. When I switched, I never had any soreness or feeling like I was pushing the muscles. But. . . I took off last week (family vacation). No strength training at all. I did do some cardio. I started my TT workout again on Saturday - very sore on Sunday. Another strength session on Monday, and now on Tuesday, again incredibly sore. I've been doing this workout since the beginning of June with no soreness. Did taking a week off change something? Could there be another reason why I'm now getting sore when I wasn't before with the same workout? Nita

Hi Nita, You probably worked into things slowly when you began in March, going very gently on your muscles. After taking the week off, you probably didn't do any kind of " ramp up " and jumped in to your " normal " routine (which is now at a higher level than in March, since you've been working so hard Believe it or not, muscles do get out of shape in as little as a few days. The soreness is normal. Dana
