Guest guest
It's really different for everybody. It depends a lot on genetics and how you carry your fat. If you're an " apple " who carries weight in your mid-section, you might need to be below 16% to see anything, but pear shaped women who carry all their weight in their hips and thighs often have some nice ab definition even with a body fat percentage in the upper 20s. > To those ladies with visible abs: > At what bodyfat percentage did you see your abs? Guest guest
OK, this might seem like a stupid question, but I have always wondered exactly what people mean when they say " visible abs " or wonder if they can see their abs, etc. What exactly would one expect to see when " seeing " her abs? Lorraine // still occasionally confused by basics > > > To those ladies with visible abs: > > At what bodyfat percentage did you see your abs? Guest guest
It's not a stupid question at all and I think it's a pretty subjective thing, so, to me, visible abs means that you can see the little bumps of the ab muscles sticking out, 6 of them. I have the line in the middle, in fact I had it at 40% bodyfat, but I would like to see the " washboard " or batman abs. I think it's just that the skin is thin enough / bodyfat low enough that those little muscles are actually visible. beth jerseynebraska wrote: OK, this might seem like a stupid question, but I have always wondered exactly what people mean when they say " visible abs " or wonder if they can see their abs, etc. What exactly would one expect to see when " seeing " her abs?
