Hi Everyone,

In spite of my best intentions to have yesterday be an

active rest day - the weather provided for otherwise -

we had some snow, so guess who shoveled the driveway?!

I did pretty well back-wise, I just have the

tightness one would expect from doing that. I know, I

know I need to make it more of a full body movement

than just a back movement. Hopefully I will not have

many more opportunities to practice this winter (NOT a

big snow fan, here - it is pretty but it is a PITA to

deal with!) Oh, I also did housework max yesterday

b/c we were supposed to be having someone come in for

a look at our kitchen project, but they cancelled b/c

of the weather - and, my basement flooded again, so I

did mop-max. Fortunately I found the leak. I swear,

this house is cursed!

This morning I did T-Tapp Primary Back Stretch twice

to loosen up, then I did Plyo X - I skipped the bonus

round - I don't really enjoy the moves he selected for

that series and I figure it is good enough just to do

the regular part of the workout. I can tell I have

improved in this area and if recovery is any

indication of improvement I do notice my HR recovers

alot faster now. I don't have a HR monitor (I'm

afraid it would make me too anal about my workouts),

but I can tell improvement from my perceived exertion.

To further loosen up I did PHH Stretch - I could have

gone for yoga, but I was more in the mood for an

athletic straightforward stretching session. I felt

pretty good after that one, but I know I'll need to

keep stretching!

Oh well - off to the rat race. At least i have a 3

day weekend.

Donna
