Saturday - another rest day

Hi Everyone,

Just feeling tired and in need of extra sleep - so I took another day off this morning. I had a pretty sleep-deprived week this week b/c DH was working the later shift and I wouldn't really fall asleep until he got home around 11:30/12:00 and getting up at 4:30 for a few days there completely depleted my sleep resources! On a positive note, my back is improving after my injury earlier this week.

I'll get back on "track" tomorrow w/ my regular weekly program - with a day off for Xmas on Thursday, of course! :)

I'll probably do the TM or tomorrow w/ some Classical Stretch or Pilates added on.

Today and tomorrow are my mass baking days - should be challenging around here food-wise, but I'm taking it in stride - just another couple of days and then Xmas is over and I can buckle down nutritionally again.

I admit, I feel really flabby since not doing any serious weight training since September. PIlates is helpful, but for me I think weights give me the best results. But, I have to accept where I am and not injure myself by doing too much too soon. I'm hoping to have some down time in the next two weeks when I can put together a list of exercises for my chiro to review with me, then, hopefully I'll have some sort of "plan" for re-building myself. I do still plan to keep a heavy emphasis on Pilates and lower impact cardio, but I am also anxious to pick up the weights again (or even bands, if that is a better place to start)

Take care!Donna
