Hi Darcy,

I doubt you've lost strength taking it easy for a week - you were probably just having an "off" day - it happens. Sometimes we're sleep deprived, stressed, or just plain tired. The holidays are always tiring (but fun, most of the time) and you were probably stressed over the whole dentist thing, too.

I'm sure you'll fly through this workout on your next attempt!

I think sometimes you can push too hard..UGH.. I did Maximum Intensity Strength. I don't know what's up, but I only matched Cathe w/ her weight on this workout, and I about died trying to do so. Wow, truly. I was trembling. Grrr... I can't believe I'd lose that much strength just by taking it easy in one week, but I truly don't remember this workout being so tough! Wow. On the 2nd set of crazy 8's, I had to drop down. She was using a 35 lb barbell, I switched to 27. And that about killed me. Other than that I used exactly what she was using. I also don't like the abs in this workout. Way too much focus on the upper part, and barely any on obliques or lower. Oh well. My arm are so jell-o and shakey still...almost in a bad way!Darcy

Hi Darcy,

Sorry to hear about the not-so-great workout. :( But - to have

a " bad " workout and *only* match Cathe sounds pretty good to me! ;)

I had a rough workout on the tmill on Thursday, too. I thought I had

been progressing pretty well cardio-wise, but it felt really hard on

Thursday, and I didn't change anything. I'm hoping for a better time

next week! :)
