Guest guest
I have just got a perscription from Dr Heard for Diflucan as Georgia has very high yeast. When I gave the pharmisist the perscription she asked if I really wanted to pay for it as for 2/52 it costs £101! She advised me to see my own doctor to try and get it on NHS - so I was just wondering if anyone has had success and also whether Diflucan has given many gains to others! Guest guest
I have taken a generic diflucan http://www.inhousepharmacy.com/infections/generic-diflucan.html Many years ago I was prescribed (NHS) diflucan but just one tablet on each occassion despite having rampant yeast including oral infection. I really needed a longer course. I felt better after a 4 day course recently. But I imported this. I think we can get larger (more cost effective) batches on prescription for Dr Jang in the US. I don't know if anyone can comment on that. Best wishes, Sandy

Guest guest
Yes, have been perscribed this a couple of times by dr heard. i get it from my GP, or local children's outpatient. have just finished a two week course. we get an oral suspension formula which is pleasant tasting. my son doesn't seem to mind it at all. hope that helps karenza
Guest guest
>Thanks for all your replys - it is good to know you can get it and I will be trying my GP tomorrow - Dr Heard's persciption is the oral suspension and it is good to know it is pleasant although Georgia has funny tastes sometimes and loves soap if she can get it! I will be taking Georgia's test results showing the high yeast with me. best wishes Sue > Yes, have been perscribed this a couple of times by dr heard. i get it from my GP, or local > children's outpatient. have just finished a two week course. we get an oral suspension > formula which is pleasant tasting. my son doesn't seem to mind it at all. > > hope that helps > > karenza >
Guest guest
Hi We got 4 weeks supply of Diflucan for our GP - he would only prescribe one week initially so we could see how it went. It killed of a very bad case of yeast and a lot of behaviours with it - we found it very useful. sharon x

Guest guest
>I managed to get the diflucan today without to much hassle - I wish everything was so easy! In McCarthy's book she said her son turned into something from the exorcist for a couple of weeks after taking this, so am a bit worried on how Georgia will respond but hopefully it will be good in the long run as she says it really helped her son! I will also be asking about the blood tests. Thanks again Best wishes Sue > We did the blood tests shortly after when starting with Jean. > > > sharon x >
