Guest guest
Hi Chel, What I am is a " Non Attorney Representative " for Social Security Disabiliy claimants. Some work is done at home - i.e., phoning claimants back. Most of the other work is done at the firm I am associated with, since claimants files are private. Then the " real " work is done at an ALJ hearing or beyond (I haven't had to go beyond yet!). So it is all spread out. Not exactly " working at home " . I did have to receive additional coursework, pass a grueling testing procedure, background check, provide college/grad school transcripts, buy insurance, and other things. I do not work for SSA, I work for the firm. I can tell you more and give you the details for the education and exam better if you email me directly. This program is limited, it has been going on about 3 years now; right now there are 2 years left for new applicants; the test is given once a year, the application period is in February, you must have demonstrated 5 cases of " awards " , and attend meetings. Email me directly at fijiwigged@... If you give me your phone number then, I'd be happy to call you also and talk to you more about this. ~ Gretchen
