Maybe I have big eyes, I dunno, but I always seem to veer to the large side on things. :-/ Potatoes are pretty easy, but I have a hard time picturing things like tennis balls or golf balls, for cup and 1/2 cup portions. Must be my totally nonathletic childhood coming back to bite me in yet another way. LOL LOL, maybe I need to learn to measure in forkfuls or something, for when we eat out! Guest guest
LOL about the big eyes!! You're not the only one! I don't use the graphics that much beyond the potato because I'm not a visual person. I was very into sports when I was younger so while I can easily picture a tennis ball and can even "feel" it in my hand I cannot relate it to a serving of rice or whatever it is equated with in the graphics (so I like them, but for people who find them more useful than I do). I am, therefore, more likely to measure. Then again, I normally do the core plan anyway so I don't measure much for that ('cause I'd prefer not to be bothered with it period). One of the things I like about WW is that there is room for everyone, the people who can eyeball accurately and those of us who prefer more concrete measurements and those of us who prefer not to measure at all! :-) Re: Eyeballing/ / Holy measuring spoon, Batman!!
