Cardio needs Change!

Hello All (and thank you for the advice regarding those chicken

breasts - they will be poached and baked today.)

I have been doing all my cardio workouts on the treadmill. I do all my

workouts at home with the basics. Now, almost 50lbs later I'm BORED!

Some mornings I'll get up to do my workout, then land here, in front

of the computer, and never even get to do my workout. Not because I

don't want to sweat, but I don't want to run on my treadmill or go:

12, 10, 8, 6, 12, 12! I'm tired of it.

Also, I think that I might be getting some shin splints from running

on the treadmill - that, or I need new shoes (can't tell by looking at

the shoes, as they've never been outside...) I'm at the point now that

to get a 10! intensity, I have to sprint for a good 2 minutes (I gauge

a 10 intensity by how nauseated I am - weird like Skwigg! ) That's at

a 2% incline. So yes, I can up the incline, but that just feels like

more of the same.

Does anyone have a idea what I can do at home for a all out, crazy,

I-need-to-sit-down-now cardio workout? I live in Canada - so it is

already/still dark when I workout - going for jogs outside is not

really an option - I don't have all the warm workout stuff to go out

at 6am. Neither do I want to spend the money on it. Running in snow,

on ice, in the dark, is not my thing. (Well, it is still nice here,

but it could change any day now!)

What about that turbulence training thing? Any other ideas?

Thanks in advance!

Yvette

(Down 48lbs, 22 to go! 2.5 months left to make it so - I don't want to

be fat and 30!)
