Hi everyone. Good workouts being posted! Jen, you are doing fantastic!

Carolyn, I can't believe you are walking in this nasty weather - Chinook

must adore you for your efforts.

Yesterday I walked on the treadmill for 30 mins, took a short break, then

walked another 30 (supposedly taking a 20 minute (or so) break in the middle

is good for calorie burning, or fat burning, or something. LOL I read too

much!) 271 cals burned, and I could feel it in my legs.

Today I did Cathe's Basic Step without the Step (which sounds riduluous).

It's a nice, simple routine, and I even caught on to knees-around-the-world

this time. I think I can probably use the step, on the lowest level, and

not kill myself. It's only 30 mins, well, a little less, because a couple

minutes of that is stretching. Toasted 159 cals. Then I did the upper body

workout - 20 minutes of good stuff. I sure feel the band work. In fact, I

had the highest heart rate on the biceps curls with the band. I'm sure

that, and afterburn from the aerobics, contributed to burning 109 calories

(!).

, join me in doing her beginner routine! Tomorrow is a stretch day,

but I'll add a walk. I don't have any Cathe stretch workouts, but I have

plenty of others, and I don't want to get sick of Cathe anyway, so I'll be

glad to mix it up.
