OT: help with stores

Sorry to be OT, but could someone point me in the right direction for

finding a store that carries girls' rainjackets and maybe women's

rainboots (wellingtons?). I thought those things would be falling off

the shelves here in the UK, yet I can't seem to find them in the

places I've been (Tesco, Woolworths, M & S, and a couple local stores).

Thanks so much,

Anita

Dear Anita,

if you want a properly waterproof jacket. the first thing that comes to mind is a camping/outdoor activity shop.Common names here are Milletts and also Blacks. they would probably have wellies too. Also try phoning local shoe shops re wellies. If you have no luck you can try Boden uk on-line - lovely stuff including fancy girly wellies, but pricey. The bigger branches of tesco and asda should have clothes. I'm surprised woolworth's couldn't help - it could just be that stocks are low.

Thank you so much everyone :-) Sally helped me sort out the grocery

store puzzle and now I have a better grasp on the everything else

problem :-) All that's left now is to figure out how many dozen

roundabouts I have to travel.

It is amazing to me how much of a cultural difference there is

between Canada and here! I feel like such a dolt sometimes. I

wonder what my kids think of me, unable to navigate my way through

the simple task of finding raingear.

Thanks again for helping with my silly questions :-)
