OT:10 minute Bill in Parliament

Just to let you know that on 16 Jan directly after PMQs Lee will

be presenting a 10 minute Bill on services for Autism. Can be viewed

on the parliamentary channel. As he is an opposition MP he cannot be

too critical or ask for additional funding because he will fall at the

first hurdle otherwise, but what he is going for is adding compulsion

on a lot of existing framework strategies (ie not just guidelines) in

effect bolstering up existing legislation making it more enforceable.

He is targetting Early Diagnosis and Intervention

For Education remove the post code lottery underlining that there is

no one fit for all

Parental Involvement guaranteed with a degree of independant

assessments for guidance

Ring Fenced Funding in Health and Education

Support into adulthood
