Hi Everyone,

Today I did 's 4 Big Miles - what a fun/varied workout! I probably commented on it before - but each mile has a different "focus" - the first mile is the basic/warm-up type mile - nothing too fancy but the pace increases steadily throughout and it is a good way to start. The second mile is a faster pace at a 12 min mile, the third mile includes jogging intervals and is a 10 min mile, the last mile uses the "stretchie" for some strength work while still walking and then moves into a gradual slow-down of the overall pace. I'm looking forward to getting my hands on the two new ones has that feature 5 mile walks. One is 5 individual miles, the other is a 5 mile walk done at the 12 min mile pace. I would also like to get the one that she has out that includes lower body toning, but it is pricey at $25! Will wait on that - I'm sure Wal Mart in January (for Resolution time!) will carry some or all of

these.

Afterwards, I did the 26 min premix on Ana Caban's Core Challenge Pilates workout. This one is "reformer" inspired, so it is not "classical" matwork and contained some different exercises - so it was fun to shake up the Pilates routine a bit. I still have trouble with "rowing" and I think it is b/c my back is tight - hopefully over time I'll get some more flexibility as well as stability and strength.

Tonight, I'd love to get 30 min of restorative yoga in. I need to make time for it - there really is no excuse - DD Is in bed early enough for me to do a little something!

Tomorrow is my Pilates day - not 100% sure what I'll pick yet.

I'll do my stair climbing later, I plan to get 7 flights in today.

Take care!Donna
