another parent reported toilet problems, saw a reply theory was that has

something to do with detox and kidneys suddenly having to work a lot

more... think I saw it on K2 list, not D3.

what I am wondering is whether giving vitamin D3 which we have started recently has helped him to process the melatonin. Does anyone know whether this is a possibility? Anyway just some stuff for you to chew over,

>>They use D3 and Melatonin on the Vitamin K protocol. Do you do Vitamin K also?

Yes we do, could they all be working together to help him sleep? The melatonin + K2 + CLO wasn’t doing it. SARA

>>I think so, fingers crossed eh? Its a huge thing and will make such a difference to him and the rest of family - well done!

PS We are up to 6,000ius now without issue, Sam is making some new noises, all my bits are crossed

Hi

or anyone who might understand what I’m talking about,

I

cannot pretend to understand these things but Tom (age 5) has had major

sleeping problems for about a year or so. Melatonin made him worse by sending

him off to sleep immediately but guaranteeing that he would wake around 2

am and stay awake for the rest of the night and following day. My husband

has IBS and recently found that slippery elm powder helped him with his pain so

we gave it to Tom too and it helped him considerably. Remis, my husband

thought it might make him less agitated at bedtime so we give it to him last

thing at night and lo and behold his sleep improved quite a bit but not

completely. We decided to give melatonin another try and this time it is

working. Touch wood for me but Tom is sleeping 11 hours a night unless he wets

the bed (in which case he still doesn’t get back to sleep!). what I am

wondering is whether giving vitamin D3 which we have started recently has

helped him to process the melatonin. Does anyone know whether this is a

possibility? Anyway just some stuff for you to chew over,

SARA

Vit D3 update

Hi All, and a happy new year ( soon ) to everyone,

It's been about a week since we started vitd3 with Ralph,our 17 y/old.

We started on 400iu's per day and worked up to 800iu's per day. Right

now we have decided to stop, as we cannot cope with him ( us! ) only

sleepimg four hours per night, plus the toiletting problems. I will

still be reading all posts, esp vitd3 related ones, to see how others

get on with the protocol.
