Guest guest Posted October 1, 2008 Report Share Posted October 1, 2008 Okay, I just got done with this workout I did like it quite a bit, but it is on it's own as far as what kind of workout it was. Hmm... It did quite a bit of strength, but yet I got a couple great short bursts of cardio too. The very first exercise about killed me..LOL.. I can also see why people wear gloves while using kettlbells. I have Aders which are famous for their smooth handles, and my hands still are kind of sore. Anyway, the workout was about 55 minutes long. It was kind of odd as there wasn't really a warm-up, the first section was " joint mobility " , but you start off doing that when you're fresh and not warmed up. There also isn't a cool-down. I think I will stick with just this DVD (for kettlebells) for awhile until I feel I have it mastered pretty well before trying another kb workout. I'm thinking I would use it more for cardio right now.. until I can up my kettlebells more anyway. Hmm... not positive. Oh, and I burned 485 calories, I didn't look at my max and average though. I know I felt like my heart rate was through the roof a couple of times, and it was just in the 160's... Anyway, I'll be curious to see if I have any DOMS tomorrow.
