Guest guest Posted January 22, 2008 Report Share Posted January 22, 2008 Did my pushups and tricep dips... one more tricep dip than last time and a few more pushups than last time on some kinds, less on others so it pretty much evened out probably. Getting deeper on the tricep pushups though, 5 of them almost to the floor and back up, those are killers. I'm getting used to pushups just being part of my life at this point, there's so many in this video! Did something weird to my back at the end of the workout, not sure how or when but felt like a little pull or something on the right side so I added on Tamilee's floor stretch from her stretch video, the name of which is escaping me right now. It didn't help my back much but the extra stretch was nice anyway! It hurt quite a lot so I took some ibuprofen and feel much better now so nothing serious. Will see what is up tomorrow before I workout but for now I'm planning on Debbie Rocker's 30 minute walk. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I only do the pushups every other day, with the circuit video, but I have to admit I've thought about torturing myself with some on my cardio days because I can see myself getting stronger with them and I'm actually, in a sick way probably, almost enjoying them now (although I NEVER say "oh yea, time for pushups" it is still more like, "oh great, more pushups, whoopie" -- heavy on the sarcasm). A few every day wouldn't be so bad. Maybe I will. Maybe I won't. If you do tell me though and maybe I'll be more inspired to jump in (like that pushup challenge I said I was going to do and didn't because they weren't part of most of the workouts I was doing and I didn't usually think to do them alone).
