Guest guest
She is a trip isn't she?! I have a kids' yoga tape of hers I've done with my 7 yo DD and the outfit stunned me at first but I got used to it. I liked her a lot and wondered how her "adult" yoga workouts were. Will definitely keep my eyes out now, sounds great! Thanks for reporting on this . Good job on your walk too!! Wai Lana Yoga: Beginners Workout - Easy I got this tape from a big lot of tapes I won on Ebay. I had always been curious about her yoga practices, and I must say, Wai Lana (Chinese, has cute accent) gets the award for the most wildest workout clothes, hands down! This tape is done via voice over, cueing is not mirrored (but not a huge deal here), and the setting is in Hawaii maybe? China? The exercises I think are taken from various workouts and put onto one tape, so the scenery and outfits change each time. Just gorgeous! She has these satiny outfits with big time patterns, and headbands, arm and ankle bracelets made of flowers. She wears eyeliner and blush and has beautiful skin. This turned out to be a wonderful stretch tape, and she does a lot of non-traditional poses like Krishna pose where you cross one foot over the other while standing and push your hip out for a stretch, bending the non-hip knee if that makes sense, and you hold your hands out as if you were playing the flute.Another pose was "Grinding the Beans" where you sit in a staff pose but lean forward and back in a circular motion, as if you were stirring something / grinding beans. The music was Chinese I think, and I'm curious about the other beginner tape I won in this lot that focuses on toning. I would like to try her more advanced yoga practices at some point. All in all, this felt good and it is a keeper!I also walked 3 miles at lunch yesterday along the Esplanade/Waterfront.
