Guest guest
I would simply just start very lightly Stacey. Not sure what you have for DVD's? But I would still make sure to get some resistance training in with your cardio. Maybe just start with three days a week?? Do you have any Firms? Those might 'fit the bill' well. Darcy darcy, i'm feeling better:) not sure how far i can push it with activity but i won't know until i try. by now i'm back to starting over. i would be interested in any suggestions for a plan. stacey > > > well, this is the week, starting monday i'm going to start my workouts > > again. a little something everyday... > > stacey > > > > > > >

Guest guest
Hi Stacey, I'm glad you're feeling well enough to start exercising again. Although I'm not starting from "ground zero" what i think I'm going to do when I start to add in more of my "regular" workouts is something like this: Strength Yoga Cardio Pilates Repeat Cycle It seems like that would prevent you from over-training and would allow for frequent "active-recovery" time, too. Since I have been doing cardio I may add short cardio sessions (on the bike or TM) on to the yoga and Pilates days, and you could do that once you're feeling more up to snuff on things. I am happy that you're feeling better. For workouts, maybe the Prevention ones would be good? Do you have any Sansone, I have found her workouts to a lifesaver for me during this period of rehab! Take care, Donna Subject: Re: this is the weekTo: exercisevideos Date: Monday, October 27, 2008, 12:31 PM darcy,i'm feeling better:) not sure how far i can push it with activity but i won't know until i try. by now i'm back to starting over. i would be interested in any suggestions for a plan.stacey> > > well, this is the week, starting monday i'm going to start my workouts> > again. a little something everyday...> > stacey> >> > > >>
Guest guest
all good suggestions and that that is the kind of plan i'm looking for! i got rid of my leslie a long time ago--thought i was too good for her! i have most of the preventions and 10 minute solutions. i can do my ana/ravi, and many of the gaiam/yoga journal yoga. i'm not sure about my firms as of yet. some of the intermediate/advanced workouts i did a couple of years ago hardly made me sweat would half kill me right now. i don't think i could make it through the thursday kickboxing at the club either. stacey > > > > > well, this is the week, starting monday i'm going to start my > workouts > > > again. a little something everyday... > > > stacey > > > > > > > > > > > >
Guest guest
Okay, it's official then. I will make sure I keep at least a few of my s for crappy times like you've had to deal with Stacey! Sorry you had to learn the lesson this way! I've still got her Firm Walk for Older Adults I reviewed last week... I think it is probably still too slow paced for you but if you want it anyway I'll send it to you! ;-) Re: this is the week all good suggestions and that that is the kind of plan i'm looking for! i got rid of my leslie a long time ago--thought i was too good for her! i have most of the preventions and 10 minute solutions. i can do my ana/ravi, and many of the gaiam/yoga journal yoga. i'm not sure about my firms as of yet. some of the intermediate/advanced workouts i did a couple of years ago hardly made me sweat would half kill me right now. i don't think i could make it through the thursday kickboxing at the club either.stacey> > > > > well, this is the week, starting monday i'm going to start my > workouts> > > again. a little something everyday...> > > stacey> > >> > > > > >> >>
