Smaller frequent doses are more efficient than big ones given a long time apart. In four years we never got up to giving Sam 1mg per pound per dose - way too much for him. If this child is 62 pounds I would start with 5 or 10mg per dose. Breakspear will get 25mg Kirkman caps in for you if you ask, easier to split into 5.
