Guest guest
She has been on carnitine for the past couple of months ( might be the reason she is able to go on long rollerblading trips )I was looking at carnosine as I read Zinc Carnosine is helpful for tummy healing and ulcers etc. >>I bought some Pepsin-GI for me and forget about it PepZin GI is extremely beneficial in supporting healthy gastric function. It acts by supporting the integrity of stomach cells and may exert free-radical scavenging activity, inhibiting the expression of certain cytokines. PepZin GI may well promote healthy mucus secretions from stomach cells therefore maintaining a healthy bacterial balance in the GI tract.* Helps relieve occasional gastric discomfort* Maintains a healthy GI environment* Supports the health of gastric cells* Promotes a Healthy Stomach Lining & Environment* Science-Based Nutrition PepZinGi Patented Zinc-Carnosine I can send so you can try if you like Mandi x

Guest guest
Sharon, carnitine deficiency can cause hypotonia and is annecdotally common in apraxic/dyspraxic kids and can lead to weaking of muscles around the heart. If you suspect a carnitine deficiency its worth ruling it out with blood tests - I can check what these need to be (not available on the NHS we tried and i don't know where you would get them done - let me know if you find out as we suspect carnitine deficiency). If there is a carnitine deficiency you should be supplementing with prescription carnitine so you know what and how much. I think Carnosine is a supp for speech but don't know much about it. catherineSharon wrote: Are these the same thing or are they different supplements ?Thanks .Sharon. Never miss a thing. We have coq10 and ibendone to start.I tried her with Coq10 but I didn't think she was handling it.I plan to try them again with food to see if this is better for her. -- In Autism-Biomedical-Europe , " natasa778 " wrote: > > probably true. we have been giving carnitine and q10 combo (they work in > synergy) and since starting ds is much more confident on the > playground... started going on the 'big' swing for the first time few > days after starting q10. before that he would not go near it, was > petrified even of the 'small' ones with bars around. > > natasa > > > > > > Are these the same > > thing or are they different supplements ? > > > > > > Thanks . > > > Sharon. > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > --------------------------------- > > > Never miss a thing.
