If your leg muscles are sore, cardio is the best thing you can do for

warming up the muscle, increasing blood flow, and reducing soreness. Don't

skip your HIIT.

Liza,

I did my LBWO Monday, and Tuesday I was struggling through

HIIT...believe me, 10s were easy to hit, I was so sore, but oddly

enough, the next day, I was fine. All the soreness was gone. Of

course, today it's the upper body that's hurting..but that good hurt, ya

know.

Subject: HIIT when you're sore

I was still sore from yesterday's lower work out so I didn't want to jog

or run on the treadmill. I could have done it but wondered if it would

do more damage than good. So my question is if your butt, quads and hams

are sore from the previous day's work out, should you still do HIIT on

the treadmill?

I ended up just doing some steady state and just walking faster in

intervals rather than jogging or running, but felt like I wasted my 20

minutes.
