Guest guest
Thanks, ! I'm glad you're back to being a regular here (you too, Kassia!). I can't remember if posted about your house and gym photos - but everything looks great! I wish I had my own room!! Although the unfinished basement area is gradually becoming that w/ the TM and Bike in there -and maybe someday an elliptical or nordic track (if the economy becomes less scary sometime soon). I'm not sure when I'll get back to my "regular" workouts - I think I'll make it a slow progression and really try to be honest with myself about how I'm feeling after each type of exercise. It may be that some things just aren't suited for my body. The chiro has made wonderful improvements though - my back doesn't hurt at all during a "normal" day - it will get tight/annoying after a full day of housework max though. And, it didn't like when I walked huge hills on the TM - so I have to watch that. Surprisingly, I'm enjoying the TM - it is nice to zone out to my own music. And, it is nice to have re-discovered and Pilates, too. I'm not sure how much longer I'll need to see the chiro - he did talk about reducing the frequency of my treatments in a few weeks. Right now, I'm going 3X per week. The treatment takes less than 15 minutes so it isn't a huge time drain and the office is close to home and my DD has even come with me sometimes. I should have done this a whole lot sooner! I'm also fortunate that my insurance covers it 100%! It is a big payroll deduction for my particular insurance plan, but I'm glad I went with this plan now, b/c even a small co-pay would add up quickly over a 3 day per week treatment plan for 4 - 6 weeks! I'm glad you're happy in your new home!! Take care, Donna Subject: Re: Check In/Monday's workoutTo: exercisevideos Date: Monday, September 29, 2008, 12:39 PM Hi Donna!Happy to hear your back is sloooowly coming into place! After reading your check-in I feel like doing Pilates now! I have the 10 minute solutions ones but haven't done them yet (surprise, surprise). When will you be able to do the workouts that you "want" to do again, do you know? How much longer will you need to see the chiropractor? How cute that is reading now! I love Dr. Seuss!Lora the Lorax
