Guest guest
Hello! The Turbo Fanatics also on Yahoo, mentioned this group a few weeks ago and I have been reading daily messages. Sounds like this is a group that loves to workout & push play. Me too!! I just finished a fitness challenge that was home workouts, but not to videos. It's a " mom's " workout for busy moms that is about 15-20 minutes a day 6 days a week. I do cardio intervals days 2,4 & 6 and strength training in supersets days 1,3 & 5. I love the strength training workouts but the cardio isn't enough for me to lose weight. I have made pretty amazing gains (literally) in muscle mass which has increased my metabolism, but I have not dropped much in sizes or inches, although I did lose fat as my fat % went down from 28% down to 24% in 12 weeks. So, I am looking to put together a program for myself, as I see myself as a mix of endo & mesomorph...I put on muscle pretty easily but tend to hold onto fat & weight. I have had more success when I do more than 15 minutes of cardio 3x a week. I have many workout videos as doing my workouts at lunch in my conference room is my favorite exercise. I was thinking about doing 10 minute trainer from Tony Horton (beachbody) every other day and doing Hip Hop Abs after as a sort of low level fat burning cardio after strength training on days 1, 3 & 5 and doing straight up 60 minutes of Turbo Kick, with the instructional videos at first, until I am familiar with the round and then going by notes & iPod on days 2, 4 & 6. I was thinking of trying to get in some kind of stretch/yoga on day 7. I just looked at Debbie Sever's Slim Series Express Cool It Off. Does this sound like too much? I don't really have knee or back issues and have been doing a fair amount of exercise over the last six months (even doing jogging fast walking as my intervals. Any thoughts would be appreciated! Today I did my Fit Yummy Mummy Intermediate strength workout " B " and added 15 minutes of Hip Hop Abs " the secret to flat abs " and " fat burning cardio " which was about 30 minutes. Total workout time was 60 minutes. Betsey Syms
