Guest guest
hi - finally have time to check-in! tuesday (yesterday) was cardio day for the ripped rotation. i walked with chinook for 60 mins. then did a selection from 'star trainers:ab blast', starring rob glick (around 12 mins). this was crunch variations, followed by planks and side planks, and it was surprisingly more intense than i thought it would be. after that i did 'tony horton 10 minute trainer:yoga flex' which was, overall, a nice little routine - 10 moves in 10 minutes. tony moves through the session quite quickly, and doesnt cue the opening sun salutations very well. it helps if you know the salutation and can just do it without much help from him. total of 92 mins, 426 cals. today was 'ripped' day, and i started off with a 30 minute bike ride with chinook. then i did 'ripped' with jari and gang -- i increased my weights on most things. planning to do a bigger increase on friday for the last performance of this workout for probably another year! i felt this workout more today than i did on monday. happily im not really sore. i actually quite enjoy this workout and havent minded doing it twice this week so far. anyway, i followed that with 'perfect in 10:stretch:intense stretch'. these little 10 minute stretch sessions are great for adding-on! total of 112 mins, 449 cals. tomorrow is walking, abs and yoga. im still trying to get on the elliptical for extra cardio, but havent made it there yet this week. will try harder to fit that in tomorrow. :*carolyn. Guest guest
Good job, Carolyn. You are getting in tons of exercise! I'm walking for cardio today, too, and I think I'll do a Yogilates workout to cover both abs and yoga in one go. I'm certainly enjoying going through my pile to find different abs and stretching! I think someone else mentioned doing a different abs dvd for each workout. I don't think I can do that entirely, but I can probably come close! :-) -----Original Message----- From: exercisevideos [mailto:exercisevideos ] On Behalf Of Festival City tuesday (yesterday) was cardio day for the ripped rotation. i walked with chinook for 60 mins. then did a selection from 'star trainers:ab blast', starring rob glick (around 12 mins). this was crunch variations, followed by planks and side planks, and it was surprisingly more intense than i thought it would be. today was 'ripped' day, and i started off with a 30 minute bike ride with chinook.
