I haven't worked out in days and am feeling rather slug-like but it is kind of okay. I have been obnoxiously busy. I managed to lose 1/2 pound this week (I'm trying to lose 1 more pound, preferably by next week to put myself in good shape for all the upcoming eating blitzes). I've also probably managed to eat that 1/2 pound in garbage food today because I'm so tired (even with a little nap this afternoon after work). I just do not resist junk when I'm tired. I see what I'm doing and do it anyway. I'd better go right it down and just deal with it! DH is doing really well (emotionally) and the kids love having Daddy around more.

I was able to pick up some more classes with WW as leader and receptionist (leader pays more), some are temporary but one is a Saturday morning triple meeting (3 in a row) and that usually pays at least $100/week. I'll be doing that when the regular leader goes to Florida for February and March, just when DH's paychecks stop coming (unless he manages to find something else by then) so that is good. We had a huge, regional WW meeting yesterday, revealing the 2009 program and training us on it. I had to sign a confidentiality agreement not to reveal any details until the Dec. 7 launch but I will say it looks FANTASTIC! I have lots to learn between now & then. Current members will be very comfortable with the changes and, I hope, really excited about them too.

I've got lots of changes to my schedule due to picking up more work so sometime tomorrow I really want to map out what days/times I can work out at least for next week and what I want to do. The time will vary from day to day which I don't love but I'll make it work somehow. I really need to for sanity's sake. Will post my plan when I make it.

I got my barbell yesterday (boy that feels like a long time ago)... "medium-size" is just a little longer than a baton!!! Okay, maybe longer than that but it is short! Possibly too short for squats with the bar on my shoulders but we'll see. It should work for other things I think. I haven't had a chance or energy to figure out how to attach the plates, which are disappointingly light (1.25 to 5.5 pounds each, total of about 23 pounds I think) but it was free and hopefully I can put other plates on it too.

Next weekend is my annual scrapbooking getaway with my girlfriends. I've decided not to feel horribly guilty about going despite Do's job loss. We had planned for it, he wants me to go and he's still getting a paycheck for the next two months so we can "afford" it, we just won't have as much to save this month. I am doing a lot more work though so my next check should be really big relatively speaking, I don't get paid a lot to begin with but this month's was really nice too, so that will help alleviate some of the guilt. I'm pretty sure I can rent a DVD player for super cheap at the hotel so I'm going to pick a couple of workouts to bring to do in the room. If anyone wants to suggest any, feel free.

That's it from here. I'm gonna go journal my excesses and go to sleep. We have church in the morning, both DH and I and the kids have separate scout events (I'm a Brownie Girl Scout Leader and he's a Cub Scout Den Leader) in the afternoon and then in the evening, if we're up for it, DS will go to his youth group and I will go to my study group so I'm not planning any workout for tomorrow. I am definitely looking forward to it for Monday though!
