Guest guest
Could anybody comment on the new " Designer Whey GlycerLean " that is being marketed by Next Proteins. The claim is that they have patented a slow release whey protein that will continue for 8 hours due to larger molecular weight particles. They combine it with GlycerLean, a mix of glycerine, L-leucine, L-taurine, alpa lipoic acid, and CLA. They claim to have scientific studies that confirm the sustained levels of glutamine and leucine in the blood stream over 8 hours even after working out, thus causing more protein synthesis and less catabolism. The glycerlean is supposed to protein spare and increase burning of fat. I realize there is a lot of hype and marketing, but wondered if the nutrition or biochem folks could confirm the possibilities of sustained amino levels, protein sparing, and fat burning qualities. Also, they really hype the fact that they are the only company with scientific results. Is their research anything credible or is it the same bogus stuff we usually see from manufacturers? Any takers? Mike Prides Crossing, MA USA
