All the pounding from jumpropes, bunny hops in the squares, etc can contribute to plantar fasciitis. When I did Turbo Kick 5 times a week with the wrong shoes I got plantar fascitis as a result and it took over a YEAR to go away completely! Now I do " wall walks " every day, putting the ball of my foot against the wall then lean up toward it for an intense foot and calf stretch, then you also want to do a runners lunge.
