Guest guest
Hi Jen, Are you talking about Jillian's set - The Biggest Winner? If so, I have two of those - the maximize ones. From what I remember there is a lot of jumping and fast paced stuff. I don't like high impact very much, so didn't like these a lot when I did them. But, I was also in much worse shape cardio-wise when I used them, too. I don't remember if there were modifications shown for lower impact to make it easier on your knees. I haven't done any of the titles, though. HTH, Sara > > What is your opinion of these dvds? Worth buying or not? What level exerciser? Guest guest
Thanks Sara, that does help!I don't want to do any high impact beyond playing volleyball so I will skip these workouts. Other workouts show modifications and don't assume that everyone is 100% perfect..which my body is NOT!LOL, JenSubject: Re: The Biggest Loser - how to win by losing SET of 5 dvdsTo: exercisevideos Date: Monday, December 8, 2008, 10:40 PM Hi Jen, Are you talking about Jillian's set - The Biggest Winner? Guest guest
BAD BAD FOR BAD KNEES. i only tried one of those shape ups and she kicked off the warm up with doing jumping jacks with weights!! its way to fast and lots of pylometrics squats and lunges. while i like the kickbox workout out them all, it would still be a bit rough on your knees. there is always the biggest loser dvds with BOB in them like the first one where there are low impact workouts or at least ALL the workout segments can be modiifed to low impact. biggest loser 2 is actually pretty good too. i didn't like their cardio max, never tried power sculpt and they have a boot camp and yoga titles being released this month. HTH but plz stay away from those maximize and shape up ones of jillian just way to dangerous of moves especially if you already of any medical issues. ldy_solana's fitness blogldy_solana's domainScouting for All Too many people spend money they haven't earned to buy things they don¢t want to impress people they don¢t like.-Will Subject: The Biggest Loser - how to win by losing SET of 5 dvdsTo: "Exercise-Videos" <exercisevideos >Date: Monday, December 8, 2008, 10:06 PM What is your opinion of these dvds?
