Guest guest
I will turn 50 this November. I agree, 50 is the new 30! My goals before I turn 50 are to complete a half-marathon and to enter into an amateur boxing match! 50 is gonna ROCK! Guest guest
Congratulations! I bought a couple of those protein shots. They are not terribly tasty, but I forced it down anyway. I had to take it really cold so I wouldn't taste it so much. Belated happy holidays to all! For my 30th birthday on Saturday, I went pants shopping (for the first time in over a year, because I only buy pants when I'm in America). My pants have been getting more and more baggy all year, and I was surprised to be taking off my size 12's and slipping into a size 6 in the fitting room! It was especially a relief after--I confess--two straight weeks of real holiday (over-)eating. And I love that my husband refers to it as being " half the size I was last year " . I also bought a box of those liquid protein shots that come in a 3-oz tube. Has anyone tried these? I haven't tried one yet, because I've been caught up in a 3-day travel nightmare, thanks to Delta Airlines, but I'm looking forward to having a non-refrigerated protein source on hand. (The only other non-refrigerated protein source I can think of is jerky, another thing I can't get here in Denmark.) Happy new year, all! Also, thanks, , for your inspiring post! What a great attitude to start the new year with! -Janine
