Guest guest Posted November 1, 2008 Report Share Posted November 1, 2008 that when you think you are getting things together something happens. a family friend,who lived with my in-laws for a few years, passed away in her sleep. she was only 43. this is going to be very hard for the kids. my little brother in law is very distraught. we are not sure how to explain to viola. when my grandfather died, i admit i glossed over real quick with 'great grandpa is sleeping and can never wake up'. since she never saw him often she never questioned much about it other then looking at pictures every now and then. this one is hard b/c she was rather close to aunt denise. denise had a medical heart defect but seemed to never be an issue as of late. she was planning on getting a car and going back to work. she says she was going on a quest to quit smoking since my mother in law made it through. she postponed her appointments b/c my mother in law is due to have some major surgery and she thought it was selfish to worry about her appointments when my mother in law was going through a rough patch herself. it really sums up who she was though. never had a problem or fought with anybody and was always on the sunny side of things. she didn't feel right unless she was helping you. she was very good with viola and did attempt to learn how to work with her and i credit her with some of viola's conversation skills in the past year. of course i am upset but i am more worried about the kids at this point. my mother in law is highly upset right now b/c it was her best friend and she was the one who had to find her in bed. its been rough too b/c she also recently lost her brother in law all of sudden a few months back. just had to get that off my chest. going to finish some coffee kick up the heat and try some pilates today. i haven't told dh yet since he hadn't gotten home until 3am and i just want to buy the time until he wakes up. have a great weekendkassia ldy_solana's domainScouting for All Too many people spend money they haven't earned to buy things they don¢t want to impress people they don¢t like.-Will Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
