Guest guest
Hi Sara, I'm assuming you've already tried it but I have both and myself on Kirkman's CLO and we use the EPO from the Breakspear. Darla x Hi, can anyone recommend a really good fish oil please? Thanks, SARA
Guest guest
Thanks . Does MorEpa not come in liquid form? I’ve just remembered that it was the one Dr. recommended at the TA conference. I don’t know if I could be doing with squeezing fish oils out of capsules. Not tried Coromega but have heard good reports for ynger kids it may be good too because of indiv. packaging. We give it with lots of extra vit E. Our child was v. dyspraxic/and more apraxic than any SLT identified and this does help. Guest guest
No, That Mor EPA is from the company Minami Nutrition based in Belgium. I know the company quite well and I know the director makes sure he gets good quality oil for his products. He's happy to send anyone an analysis sheet. BTW Sara, when you do fish oils, it's really important to make sure there is a GLA ( usually borage or evening primrose) in the product or you give it separately. Many people have trouble metabolizing this themselves. RE: fish oils Thanks . Does MorEpa not come in liquid form? I’ve just remembered that it was the one Dr. recommended at the TA conference. Guest guest
Why don’t they do liquid? Tom has EPO rubbed in – I just thought I would try a new fish oil. he’s been on NN for ages. Guest guest
You can open the caps and get liquid that way.....Bit messy, I agree. I think the trouble with liquid though is faster rancidity. RE: fish oils Thanks . Does MorEpa not come in liquid form? I’ve just remembered that it was the one Dr. recommended at the TA conference. Guest guest
Thanks Darla, we’re going to switch to the Kirkman’s CLO too (currently using NN) and we already use the EPO from Breakspear. Guest guest
Sara, I'm confused - I thought CLO WAS fish oil! Is there some kind of other fish oils that you are talking about? I was just referring to our source of EFAs - the CLO has EPA and DHA in it, are you looking for GLA or some other EFA? Darla xx Thanks Darla, we’re going to switch to the Kirkman’s CLO too (currently using NN) and we already use the EPO from Breakspear. Which fish oils do you use though? Guest guest
Hi Darla, If it’s anything vaguely scientific, it will be me that’s confused!!! I thought there was no EPA in CLO but I’ll type out what it says in ’s book: “Is Cod liver oil as good a source of omega oil as the other more expensive brands?” no, if you’re trying to reach the recommended daily 500 mg of omega-3 HUFA, don’t try this with cod liver oil. This popular ‘omega-3’ supplement is not a very concentrated source of EPA or DHA, but it does contain the fat-soluble vitamins A and D …” so CLO and fish oils are 2 separate things in my mind. He takes NN CLO and NN pro-omega fish oils but I wanted to try another brand for both. I’m going to try the Kirkman’s CLO but don’t know which “fish oil” to try. Guest guest
---Hi Sara I live near Durham, and heard about a trial on fish oils in local schools, which was quite successful. The oils used were Eye-Q. The trials were based on s work, you can find out more by going to Durhamtrial.org. Hope this helps. Guest guest
---Hi Sara, I've just checked the Eye-Q site. If you go to products, click on eye- q, scroll down the left hand side of the page to eye-q liquid, then click on equazen process, it says the liquid has been filtered to remove heavy metals. Hope this helps. Glynis In Autism-Biomedical-Europe , " Sass and Rem " <Moroza- @...> wrote: > > Hi Glynis, > When I saw her speak she said that Eye-Q was the best and now it's Mor > Epa.
