Guest guest
I bought this exercise DVD over the summer when I added to my collection in a huge way. Real life got in the way of regular exercise during August and September, and then I lost October because of work hours, and so my 4x or 5x a week workouts diminished to 2x a week. I swore to myself that I'd start up, actively, in November. And I did, with 30 Day Shred. I LOVE Jillian s. I've always been a fan of Tony Horton, so I was unsure what to expect from Jillian. She's just as physical as Tony, but even more motivating! I prefer physical workouts, and Jillian really pushes you to the end but she doesn't make you feel inferior about it. In fact, she's very encouraging. It's a 20 minute workout, and you start with Level 1 and work your way up from there, eventually progressing to Level 2 and then Level 3, all of which include cardio, sculpt and abs. The combination really works your body hard. Level 1 is, bion, a challenge. I tried this once back over the summer, half-heartedly, to see what it was all about, and wiped it from my mind. I was engrossed with Tony at the time, but I'm thrilled that I've rediscovered this one. I've done it three times since Saturday and even though it's only 20 minutes long, I feel the difference already. My body is responding in a huge way, and I think it helps that I've worked out with Tony the way I did because my progression through Level 1 is going quickly. I think I'll be ready for Level 2 by this weekend after two more thorough, sweaty workouts. Anyone else have experience with Jillian? -Terri-
