Good morning!

Someone asked about a vegan diet - this is what I eat. It doesn't

balance perfectly at every meal, but I seem to be getting enough of

everything. I'm losing weight, I'm not hungry, and I have plenty of

energy for my workouts. I take a multivitamin, fish oil, and 2 red

rice yeast per day.

B: homemade bean burger (black bean, butter bean, chick pea) on 1/2

a whole wheat pita with sliced tomato. " Green " drink w/ some combo

of lettuce/spinach/sprouts (a couple of big handfuls), some regular

fruit (mango is great), some frozen fruit (usually a mix), and 1 T

ground flax seed.

S: nuts and fruit

L: some kind of bean & grain casserole or soup, and a salad

S: 5 prunes and 1 T pb

D: chili, lentil soup, or spagetti (something like that) and

vegetables.

S: Popsicle, frozen " ice cream " bar (I don't always have this as I

go to bed pretty early.)

I do use Morningstar products - crumbles in the spagetti, that sort

of thing. I do eat animal products on the weekends - just in much

smaller quantities than the average American.

I use beans and grains to fill up on and I've probably doubles my

intake of fruit & veg.

Anyway, just a different perspective!
