Guest guest
This is a question about BFL HIIT, which is level: 5 5 6789 6789 6789 6789 10 5 vs. TT Inteval, which is more 34455 833 833 833 833 333 or 34455 73 73 73 73 73 33333 This is what a woman posted on the TT forum: going at a level 6 on the rest is probably not going to allow you to recover enough to get a really hard interval. craig talks about this in his interview you can listen to that comes with the TT program. just because you are working at a hard pace throughout the 20 minutes does not mean you are doing an interval workout! you will be able to have a more intense interval period if you back off the intensity on the rest period - allowing you to reap the benefits of the intensity (growth hormone, etc) Do you agree with what she says, that 6 is not enough of a rest from the 9? I thought the idea is to mix it up so you're not doing the same workout each time, and these all seem okay to me... If anything, the TT seems a bit easy, and i'll be moving to the TT Intermediate soon, but do you agree with what she says: " level 6 on the rest is probably not going to allow you to recover enough to get a really hard interval. " thanks, Etana Finkler
Guest guest
This is going to be a really annoying answer, but - whatever works for you. All of the methods you mentioned are valid and have benefits. She's absolutely right, and so is Bill . :-) It's just a matter of what you prefer and what delivers results for you personally. Sure, some people probably push it too hard the whole time and don't slow down enough to recover on the " recovery " interval. And so their sprints are compromised. Some people probably take it too easy on the whole thing. Ideally, you mix up the intensities, durations, and methods to keep your body guessing and keep the results coming.
