Hello everyone!

I would like to introduce myself as a new member of this group, but

first of all I want to thank for inviting me and for being a

very good friend and also Liane for welcoming me somewhere on this

Group page...

To be honest, I am having a lot of difficulty finding my way around

this Healing Group - but I guess that I will get there in the end!

It is great to see such a group as this and long may it provide help,

healing and love to all of those in need and let's face it, that's

all of us at some point in our lives.

About me: I live in the UK, just up the road from Shakespeare's

birthplace, in a little town called Rugby. I have been on my own

personal spiritual quest most of my life, trying to find some meaning

and a deeper understanding of some of the profound spiritual

yearnings that have dogged my life since - well, as long as I can

remember.

I have studied a number of different meditation methods and explored

different spiritual traditions. I guess the pivotal point on my

journey however was when I discovered Reiki back in 1996. I am now a

teacher of Reiki in the tradition of Reiki Jin Kei Do (I don't feel

comfortable really with the 'Reiki Master' thing...I am a master of

nothing other than my own certainty that I am a master of

nothing...). Reiki Jin Kei Do for me is a profound and deeply

spiritual practice and it is this that currently defines me in terms

of the teachings that I personally resonate with. I teach Reiki here

in the UK and also spent three years living in Cairo, Egypt, where I

also taught Reiki. My plans are that at some point I shall return

there and teach Reiki again.

I am also a writer, artist and proud parent! I have two wonderful

kids: nne and Sam and I adore them completely.

What else can I say..I think that about covers it! I hope to get to

know more of you as time goes by, but it will depend on my ability to

figure out how this site works!!!
