Guest guest
Vicky, Is there some reason you don't want to supp the rest of the Bs? I ask because it seems to make sense that if a child is severely low in one, he will likely be low in the others also. It is very common among our children to be low in all of the Bs. There is some thought that what you're suggesting might happen can happen. If you do want to start the B6 on its own, I would suggest that at some time after you introduce the rest of the Bs as well, so that the B6 on its own is not an extremely long term thing. However, even if it is, Dr. Rimland's research, which shows lots of kids getting tons of B6 apparently with no other supps in some cases other than magnesium, seems to indicate that B6 on its own can have very good consequences without causing other problems. I hope that might help, Anita > > Is it the case that all B Vits have to be supplemented as adding just > one will cause the others to be depleted?
