Guest guest
I ended up making time for two 15 minute workouts this morning! As soon as I got up I went and did I Want Those Buns (workout 1) from my I Want That Body DVD. I have 2 copies of this DVD because I thought one was getting stuck, now I'm not sure if it was the DVD player I got rid of or if it was a disc problem and I'm not sure which copy might have the problem so I'm going to run each of them sometime tomorrow and/or Friday to see if either gets stuck. In the meantime, thinking about them meant I decided to do one of the workouts. Buns killed me last time I tried it (whenever that was) and I was thrilled to get through it very well today. It was still challenging but I'm ready to try Buns Workout 2 sometime. After the kids got on the bus I did Walk Away the Pounds Express 1 Mile Easy Walk to see if that was a stay or go workout and decided it is a keeper. It is just 15 minutes and not very intense but still goes at a decent pace and can be intensified by doing it on the rebounder or holding hand weights. I just did it as does (on the floor, no weights except the stretchy band toward the end) and had a fun 15 minutes. It seemed to by quickly and made me feel good to do it so I'm hanging onto it for days when I really don't want to work out, especially cardio, but can get myself to do 15 minutes. Tomorrow I'm doing Prevention 3-2-1 Workout with Freytag. I've never done this one and I need a short workout (this is around a half hour) preferably circuit so this sounds just right plus I can decide if it is a stay or go when I'm done. Got a lot of running around to do tomorrow after the workout and hoping to get some wallpaper scraping done too then we're going to the dreaded Red Robin for my DD's birthday! I should do a super heavy duty cardio workout because of dinner but I just don't want to. I'll box up half the meal and just take it as easy as possible. This is a cursed week anyway with birthday cake at the beginning, middle and end and I'm just trying to do my best (without taking it so seriously, next week will be easier to be closer to where I like to be nutrition-wise)! :-)
